Ezra 4:4–5 (KJV) Then the people of the land weakened the hands of the people of Judah, and troubled them in building, 5 And hired counsellers against them, to frustrate their purpose, all the days of Cyrus king of Persia, even until the reign of Darius king of Persia.
A. The objective of satan is to frustrate your purpose through mistreatment
B. When satan is trying to frustrate your purpose, he is trying to frustrate your the drive that keeps you moving forward
C. The goal of satan is to encumber your God-given path with the fruit of mistreatment
D. Mistreatment can produce frustration, frustration produces discouragement, discouragement produces apathy, and apathy produces stagnation.
E. Mistreatment can produce frustration, frustration causes you to lose your composure, loss of composure causes you to lose your focus, loss of focus causes you to lose your efficiency, and loss of efficiency causes you to lose your effectiveness.
F. Mistreatment can produce frustration, frustration causes you to forsake your faith walk, forsaken faith can cause you to lose your spiritual direction, loss of spiritual direction can cause spiritual disconnection, and spiritual disconnection can cause you to leave the things of God.
G. You have the ability to live above the frustration that comes from the pressure of mistreatment
