1 Corinthians 15:5–8 (KJV) And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: 6 After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. 7 After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. 8 And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time.

A. When we don’t allow ourselves to receive what the New Birth provides, someone else receives it

B. Judas had a “Birthright” as one of the 12 Apostles who founded the church, but he sold it for 30 pieces of silver

C. Paul was chosen by God to be the 12th Apostle in the place of Judas

D. Your “Birthright” places you in first position to receive a harvest on your efforts if you don’t faint

E. Because of Christ, you have a “Birthright” to the same favor God shows to Jesus

F. Because of Christ, you have a “Birthright” to Sonship with the Most High God

G. Believers give up their “Birthright” because of Pride, Greed, and Deceitfulness

H. Some people lose their “Birthright” because of Unfaithfulness or Negligence

I. Sometimes people give up their “Birthright” because their assignment is too unique

J. Losing your “Birthright” is like losing your marriage to the most wonderful person in the world because you didn’t treat them well

K. Repentance can Restore a lost “Birthright” but it can’t always restore the missed blessings
