PRAYING DESTRUCTION OFF PEOPLE

Deuteronomy 9:19–20 (NIV84) I feared the anger and wrath of the LORD, for he was angry enough with you to destroy you. But again the LORD listened to me. 20 And the LORD was angry enough with Aaron to destroy him, but at that time I prayed for Aaron too.

A. Destruction is looking for people to accost.

B. You have the ability and authority to pray for those who destruction is targeting

C. If God reveals to you that destruction is targeting someone, you should pray passionately for that person

D. If God reveals to you that destruction is targeting someone, rebuke destruction from their life

E. Sometimes, you can see destruction targeting someone because of their actions

F. You must learn to leave your personal feelings out of the matter so you can pray for those you feel deserve to be punished

G. Aaron sinned as a priest by creating a false god for the children of Israel to worship

H. God showed mercy to an act of treason because of the prayers of Moses

I. Never take for granted that you might be the only reason a person doesn’t die early
