SPIRITUAL DEATH | Destroyed by The Allure of The World

2 Timothy 4:9–10 (AMP) Make every effort to come to me soon. 10 For Demas has deserted me for love of this present world and has gone to Thessalonica; Crescens [has gone] to Galatia, Titus to Dalmatia.

A. Some people die spiritually because of their love for the world

B. Believers cannot love the world and stay spiritually connected

C. The pleasures of the world tempts Christians to abandon their Kingdom assignment.

D. Loving the world creates competing interests that corrupts our walk with Christ

E. A highly perilous state of mind occurs when a Believer develops an affection for the world while attempting to embrace their love for God.

F. The feeling of missing out on what the world offers is the early temptation that triggers spiritual death

G. Justification of worldly pleasure above Kingdom involvement represents another stage of spiritual demise.

H. Devaluing and Belittling Kingdom engagement is a crucial step in spiritual death
