SPIRITUAL GROWTH | Growing by the Word
1 Peter 2:2 (KJV) As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:
A. Growth should be the target of every Believer
B. Spiritual Growth is not forced on us by God, it is the product of deliberate effort
C. Christians can be saved for years and never grow spiritually
D. The foundation of Spiritual Growth is the Word of God
E. No matter how far along we are in our walk of faith, the Word of God will always spark Growth
F. Spiritual Growth happens when you feed on God’s Word by hearing it, reading it and meditating on it
G. The Word will mature your faith, develop your thinking, solidify your identity and cultivate your relationship with God
H. You will only grow in the areas you allow the Word of God to penetrate
