ACTS 16:6–7 (AMP) AND PAUL AND SILAS PASSED THROUGH THE TERRITORY OF PHRYGIA AND GALATIA, HAVING BEEN FORBIDDEN BY THE HOLY SPIRIT TO PROCLAIM THE WORD IN [THE PROVINCE OF] ASIA. 7 AND WHEN THEY HAD COME OPPOSITE MYSIA, THEY TRIED TO GO INTO BITHYNIA, BUT THE SPIRIT OF JESUS DID NOT PERMIT THEM.

A. THE INWARD WITNESS OF TURMOIL IS A STRONG DECISIVE NO – IT IS A REDLIGHT

B. YOU CAN IDENTIFY THE INWARD WITNESS OF TURMOIL BECAUSE IT IS THE DIRECT OPPOSITE OF THE INWARD WITNESS OF PEACE – YOU HAVE NO PEACE IN YOUR SPIRIT

C. THE INWARD WITNESS OF TURMOIL IS NOT A PAUSE OR A CAUTION. IT IS NOT GOD GIVING YOU AN OPTION

D. BELIEVERS MUST LEARN TO RECEIVE THE INWARD WITNESS OF TURMOIL BY FAITH, KNOWING THAT GOD KNOWS BEST

E. THE INWARD WITNESS OF TURMOIL IS NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH FEAR

F. THE MOST DETRIMENTAL DECISION A PERSON CAN EVER MAKE IS TO AVERT THE INWARD WITNESS OF TURMOIL

G. NO ONE CAN EVER BE IN THE WILL OF GOD BY DISMISSING THE INWARD WITNESS OF TURMOIL
