1 Kings 10:6–7 (KJV) And she said to the king, It was a true report that I heard in mine own land of thy acts and of thy wisdom. 7 Howbeit I believed not the words, until I came, and mine eyes had seen it: and, behold, the half was not told me: thy wisdom and prosperity exceedeth the fame which I heard.

PROSPERITY:Tôb – Good in the widest sense; a good man or woman; good things, beautiful, best, betterStrong’s Talking Greek and Hebrew Dictionary.

A. The word “prosperity” should not carry a negative connotation; Prosperity is a positive and acceptable term in the Bible

B. Tob Prosperity is about everything in your life being good

C. Tob Prosperity is about the quality of your life being good and filled with good

D. Having a life filled with good shows God is the God of prosperity as much as He is the God of Salvation

E. A good life should be the expectation of the righteous because it is the example God set with children of Israel

F. A Good life is not a stretch for the hand of God, it is very small in comparison to creating a world filled with oil, gold, diamonds and unlimited resources

G. The world discourages prosperity for the church while they indulge it for themselves

H. We shouldn’t serve God for prosperity; but we should set prosperity as a goal for which we release our faith
