Haggai 1:5–7 (KJV) Now therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts; Consider your ways. 6 Ye have sown much, and bring in little; Ye eat, but ye have not enough; Ye drink, but ye are not filled with drink; Ye clothe you, but there is none warm; And he that earneth wages earneth wages to put it into a bag with holes. 7 Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Consider your ways.

A. When things are not working, it is important to examine ourselves to see where the breakdown is

B. Many people look to God as if He is not working on our behalf; but the problem is with us

C. When our faith is not producing the guaranteed results Jesus promised, we must take a deep look into the hindrances, beginning with ourselves

D. When our faith is not working, God commands us to do a Self-Examination

E. We can examine ourselves to see if we have opened our space up to to make room for the devil

F. It is immature to have failures and blame everyone else instead of looking to ourselves

G. Self-Examination allows us to start the process of self-repair
