JOSHUA PRINCIPLE #7 | Fear No Man
Joshua 1:5 (KJV) There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.
A. The Joshua Principle #7 is Fear No Man
B. You will never be fully usable by God having a fear of people
C. Fear of man inhibits our walk with God by keeping us unaware of our identity in Christ
D. Fear of man causes us to live a life of conformity instead of transformation
E. Fear of man manifests itself in different forms:
1. Placing value on man’s opinion above God
2. Pleasing man at your own detriment
3. Lowering your standards to fit into a group
4. Breaking the law to be accepted
5. Living up to the expectation of others
F. The people you fear will be your master and will rule your life for their own benefit
G. Believers can be free from the fear of man because we have Jehovah on our side
H. God wants us to experience freedom from man so we can receive His instructions and follow through
I. God wants us to experience freedom so we are not led by people when we should be led by His Spirit
