SPIRITUAL GROWTH | Sparking Growth in Christ
Ephesians 4:14–15 (NIV84) Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of men in their deceitful scheming. 15 Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into him who is the Head, that is, Christ.
A. Ephesians 4:15 (Expanded Bible) No! [Instead; Rather] ·Speaking [or Living out; Practicing] the truth with love, we will grow up in every way into Christ, who is the head.
B. Our growth comes from our actions; how we speak, live out and practice -based on our acceptance of God’s Love
C. To grow, we must speak God’s Truth while accepting His Love
D. To grow, our Actions should be in line with the Truth while accepting His Love
E. To grow, our Practice (lifestyle) should be based on the Truth while accepting God’s Love
F. Children learn to walk because they emulate their parents who love them; likewise, we grow from emulating the Word of God, knowing He loves us
G. Aligning our lives with His Word and accepting His Love is the key to Spiritual Growth
